Project Details: Website for a Curriculum Consultant

Client: ADL Consulting
Completion Date: February 2021
Skills: Essential Branding, Web Design, Strategy

Project Description

This project started out as a new website request from Angela. She was launching out on her own as a curriculum consultant and wanted a website to not only make her look legit to prospective schools to work with, but also a platform to share her expertise. Her website includes all of the commonly found web pages, but also a blog so she can regularly share her knowledge.

Essential Branding

Angela wanted to look professional from the start, but didn’t have any branding to base her website on. I held a brand strategy session and set to work researching her competitors, peers in a similar niche and reflecting on what we uncovered in her in-depth strategy session. In the end I developed a text-based logo and a sleek contemporary, but not overly starchy look. I also chose colors that reflected her niche well and helped set her apart from her competitors, yet instilled reassurance and understanding.

Research & Photography

Many of Angela’s edcational consultant competitors seemed confused in their representation. Their words reflected the knowledgeable visitors, but their colors and images reflected the children they often work with. I knew Angela needed to be set apart from that and speak to the educators and teachers who would be visiting as the professionals they are, with colors and components that reflected this.

Angela Lalor, Curriculum Consultant

Tricia produced a beautiful website for me. She listened carefully, asked the right questions, and used my feedback to create a website that reflects my business.
